This past weekend I was invited to stay at the official hotel of I Drive 360-Wyndham Resort on International Drive in Orlando Florida. I have always thought about having a “staycation”, but have never made any moves to make it happen, so I knew this offer was too good to be true. I decided to make it a Girls Trip and bring my lovely mother, Jackie, along for the adventure. My mother takes the motto, “work hard, play harder’ to a whole new level. She is one of the hardest working people I know. On the flip side, she also knows how to properly vacay and I was happy that I got to share this wonderful experience with her.
Coming from a strong hospitality background, I strongly believe that you can tell a lot about a hotel by their front lobby. The front lobby at the Wyndham Resort on I Drive does not disappoint. The lobby was always clean and easy to navigate through. The front desk agents were very helpful, knowledgeable and always smiling. My favorite feature of the lobby was the giant scrabble game, makes passing the time for check in much more enjoyable for guests. Plus there is a beautiful bar in the lobby that offers a good variety of drinks to cater to all needs. During the day they offer Starbucks coffee and at night, there is a selection of cocktails to choose from. The rooms and bathrooms at the resort are very clean and they offer extra towels in the bathroom, which is a huge plus for me because I use at least two towels every time I shower. lol Another cool feature of the rooms are that they have cute little balconies attached with a sliding glass door. Our room had a perfect view of the pool area, which made it super convenient for us to venture out to the pool.
Another really thoughtful aspect of the resort is that there is two pools to choose from, one quiet and one loud. Both pools are beautiful, clean and inviting. I think it is a clever idea to label one as a quiet pool for those looking to relax and one a loud pool for those looking to have fun. No matter what you are looking for, your needs are met. While we were there, you know we had to check out the room service. I could get used to having breakfast in bed every morning. Who is with me?
Since the Wyndham Resort on I-Drive is the official resort of the I-Drive 360, we had to stop by the Orlando eye and we had a blast! I have been on the Orlando Eye before during the evening, but seeing it in the daytime was such a treat.I want to thank Wyndham I Drive Resort for inviting me and my mother to stay this past weekend. It was so nice to getaway and act like a tourist in our backyard. The I-Drive Wyndham Resort was a super nice and clean resort with some of the friendliest employees. They have so much to offer to families and singles alike. The main perk in my opinion is having the separate loud and quiet pools. If you are interested in staying at this beautiful resort, you can use this link here for thirty percent savings on your stay.
Also, how cute was this surprise they left for us in our room? Fruit and cheese trays are our favorite, so this was definitely a treat for us. We will for sure be scheduling a time to come back and visit this resort.
