One of my favorite activities is trying out new restaurants and food places. I’ve heard of Holler and Dash for awhile now and I have been dying to go and try there awesome looking biscuits.
As luck would have it, I got invited to the Biscuits and Brews event that Holler and Dash which was held on June 29th, 2017.
The three biscuits we got to try out were:
Fried chicken, goat cheese, green onion, sweet pepper jelly with a kick
Fried pork tenderloin, blackberry butter, fried onion straws
-Strawberry and Dash
Whipped Creole cream cheese, strawberries, whipped cream
OH EM GEE you guys! These biscuits were sooo good, like the best. I have never had a “gourmet biscuit” per say, but now that I know what I was missing my future is looking pretty fluffy. 😉
For my three drink choices I decided to try out their in house made sodas. The flavors they created are Strawberry and Lemongrass, Mango and Jalapeño and Pineapple Basil.
Surprisingly the Jalapeno one was my absolute favorite. It had the perfect amount of spicy.
The theme of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. It has a warm and quirky country modern kind of vibe from the wooden Edison bulb light fixtures and word collage wall to the casual butter and milk artwork around the restaurant. There are four locations of Holler and dash located around the US. The one in Celebration was the third location to open. The restaurant is open from 7am-2pm seven days a week, making it the perfect breakfast, lunch and brunch spot.
I would rate my overall experience at Holler and Dash a 10/10. I would and have already recommended this restaurant to several people I personally know.
